Resource Company History

Resource, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Tom Healy, formerly a senior partner and owner of Roth Young of Boston. He was consistently ranked as one of the top five recruiters in the country. His success within that 30-office system allowed him to bring proven standards of excellence to the management of a more personalized, industry-targeted operation. Since it's inception, Resource has completed over 1000 successful searches and is committed to expanding careers within the food and consumer products industries. While most of our clients are repeat customers, our list of new clients continues to grow as our reputation spreads. Best of all, the staff of seasoned recruiters at Resource Inc. are the kind of people you'll like doing business with. Responsible. Intuitive. Straightforward.

Our offices are located in the historic waterfront community of Marshfield, Massachusetts, a town 20 miles south of Boston. The original home and post and beam barn was built in 1780 and served as a livery service that would carry passengers and freight north to Boston or south to Cape Cod. It is said that the great statesman Daniel Webster used this service often in the 1840s after he retired from his Secretary of State position and became a "gentleman farmer".
